Vertical process buffer with small capacity
- The system can temporarily pick up assemblies by means of vertically arranged transport segments and deliver them again to the following system
- Incoming printed circuit boards are taken over by horizontally driven belt segments and positioned in the buffer
- The individual buffer segments are moved into position via a vertical lift axis
- Each buffer segment has a separate belt transport, which can easily handle PCBs with side cutouts

Closed process buffer within production lines
- The FPS 10B SPI buffer station is used to store "NG" as well as "Good" inspected assemblies.
- Incoming PCBs are taken over and positioned by the buffer segments
- "NG" printed circuit boards are buffered and only unloaded when requested by the operator.
- The system is used, for example, after a solder paste inspection system (SPI) to compensate for process-related downtimes.
