The two-day Ersa know-how seminar "Reflow soldering and solder paste printing" of high-pole SMT and QFN components provides theoretical and practical know-how on solder paste printing and reflow soldering, with a focus on practical application. In the practical sections "Reflow soldering" and "Solder paste printing", the participants acquire process-relevant knowledge through experiments on the paste printer and the reflow soldering system. The results of the solder paste printing are assessed and evaluated. During the subsequent reflow soldering, temperature profiles are first determined, then test boards are soldered and visually inspected.

The two-day Ersa seminar "Lead-free wave and selective soldering with solder joint evaluation" provides theoretical and practical know-how on the wave and selective soldering process, with a focus on practical application. The participants work in two groups to acquire process-relevant knowledge through experiments on various systems. Different solder alloys are used in wave and selective soldering. The groups share their experiences in a final discussion. The practical part of the workshop is divided into the wave soldering and selective soldering stations.
